RESOURCE CONSENT PROGRESS

NZ Windfarms has previously advised that a decision on its resource consent application for the Eastern Extension was expected from the Joint Hearing Committee on 11 January 2010. The Company has been advised that the Committee has exercised its power under section 37A(2)(a) of the Resource Management Act and extended the timeframe for a decision until 1 February 2010.
