NZX Announcement - Director Resignation

NZ Windfarms Limited advises that Juliet McKee has resigned as a director of the company, effective from 30 June 2010.

NZ Windfarms Chairman, Derek Walker said "that Juliet McKee had informed him that as the company moved from a wind farm developer to a wind farm owner and operator, she was keen to ensure that the composition of the board reflected the changing governance needs of the company. She was therefore stepping aside to enable the board to appoint a director with a different set of skills."

Derek Walker said that "he wishes to acknowledge and thank Juliet for her contribution to the establishment and positioning of NZ Windfarms over the last six years." He said the Board will undertake a process to identify a suitable replacement director.
