Chris has extensive experience in the New Zealand energy market and has led several generation projects through development and construction, and into commercial operation.  Chris also has a depth of experience in capital and debt markets.

As an employee of Fletcher Energy, Chris took a leading role in the development of the Taranaki Combined Cycle plant and the Southwest Cogeneration plant in Perth.  He also participated as a team member in a variety of other generation projects including The Island Cogeneration on Vancouver Island and the pre-IPO development of Capstone Turbines as a static generator.

Since 2005 Chris has undertaken a number of projects for Vector Limited.  During this time Chris also led the demand side work for the National Winter Group and was a member of the Winter Security Group set up in 2008.

Chris joined NZ Windfarms Ltd as CEO on 20 September 2010.
