Members of the NZ Windfarms Management team





Chris Sadler, CEO


Chirs has extensive experience in the New Zealand energy market and has led several generation projects through development and construction, and into commercial operation.  Chris also has a depth of experience in capital and debt markets.

 

As an employee of Fletcher Energy, Chris took a leading role in the development of the Taranaki Combined Cycle plant and the Southwest Cogeneration plant in Perth.  He also participated as a team member in a variety of other generation projects including The Island Cogeneration on Vancouver Island and the pre-IPO development of Capstone Turbines as a static generator.

 

Since 2005 Chris has undertaken a number of projects for Vector Limited.  During this time Chris also led the demand side work for the National Winter Group and was a member of the Winter Security Group set up in 2008.

 

Chris joined NZ Windfarms Ltd as CEO on 20 September 2010.












Garry Forward, CFO

Garry who is a NZ Chartered Accountant with a B Commerce, joined NZ Windfarms in September 2007 following approximately seven years with Ngai Tahu, as Chief Financial Officer/Company Secretary of Ngai Tahu Holdings Corporation from June 2006 to August 2007 and Chief Financial Officer Ngai Tahu Tourism Limited, (formerly Shotover Jet Limited) from October 2000 to April 2007.

 

Prior to Shotover Jet Garry was Chief Financial Officer of Eagle Technology Limited for 12 months and held various senior financial roles in Lion Nathan Limited for approximately 12 years.

Murray has a tertiary qualification in engineering.  He has experience in a range of civil projects within the construction industry as well as the commercial skills gained from a period of self employment within the retail and wholesale industries.
